Donate Securities
Your generous gift of publicly traded securities and mutual funds will have a significant impact on the lives of thousands of people that turn to Newmarket Food Pantry every month. Thank you for being someone our community can count on!
CanadaHelps, our trusted partner, will process the donation of your security on our behalf.
Here’s how it works:
- Complete the online securities donation pledge form. Upon completion, you will receive an email from CanadaHelps confirming all the details of your pledge.
- Complete the provided Letter of Direction form and send it to your financial advisor or investment firm authorizing the transfer of your shares to CanadaHelps.
- Once shares are sold, CanadaHelps will send you a confirmation email with your charitable tax receipt* and disburse the proceeds to our charity.
Newmarket Food Pantry recommends that you consult with your own financial advisor before initiating any type of donation of securities.
If you are having trouble completing your donation through the form below, please go directly to our Canada Helps Donation Page.
