Community Fridge
The Newmarket Food Pantry’s Community Fridge is located by the Newmarket Public Library and is a vital resource for those facing food insecurity. We work with our Food Rescue Partners to reduce food waste in our community by picking up food from local grocery and restaurant locations and delivering nutritious meals to the Community Fridge!
Community Fridge Operations
The fridge operates on the principle of mutual aid, where community members contribute what they can and take what they need, helping to create a culture of sharing and support.
In addition to providing nourishment, our fridge also fosters a sense of solidarity and connection among neighbors, making it a valuable resource for promoting both sustainability and social equity.
Food is donated daily by:
- The Newmarket Food Pantry

Community Fridge Hours: We have a new automatic locking system installed. The fridge opens at 9 am and closes at 7 pm.
