Join “Kids in the Kitchen” – Cooking for Compassion!

At Newmarket Food Pantry’s Community Kitchen, we offer a unique opportunity for your group to make a meaningful impact in our community. Explore the options below and see how you can become ambassadors of kindness while fostering connections and making a real difference.

1. Snack Pack Assembly – Nurturing Empathy

• $150 Team Donation
• We provide all items and packaging for snack packs.
• Players assemble the snack packs.
• Donated to the pantry and or the team delivers them to the Community Fridge.
• Includes packaging (bag and tie) and an exclusive facility tour.

2. “Birthday Party in a Bag” – Spreading Smiles

• $200 Team Donation
• We provide all items for special birthday packages.
• Players craft these heartwarming gifts for children facing challenging times on their birthdays.
• They can be donated to the Pantry and/or the team can deliver them to the Community Fridge.

3. Community Chefs – Empowering Youth

• $200.00 Team Donation
• Choose 2 recipes to make as a team in our kitchen (from 4-5 choices).
• We provide packaging and labels.
• Includes a Food Bank Tour and a Food Handling Representative on-site.
• Empower older youths to become community chefs, directly impacting those struggling with food insecurity.

Fundraise or Organize a Food Drive

An alternative to covering the program costs upfront, your group can fundraise or organize a food drive to provide the ingredients needed for the “Kids in the Kitchen” programs.
