How to Donate
The Newmarket Food Pantry relies solely on generous donations from our community – through food drives, fundraisers, and other events, as well as through food and cash donations.
The Newmarket Food Pantry is a registered charity, and we provide a charitable tax receipt for all monetary donations.
Food Donations
We cannot distribute outdated items, so don’t forget to check the “best before” dates on items before donating.
We accept donations at the Newmarket Food Pantry, in bins that are located in several grocery stores throughout Newmarket, and on Saturday mornings at the Newmarket Farmers Market.
Donation Hours:
Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Donations can be dropped off at the back of the building at doors 7 & 8. During the summer months (May to October), donations can be dropped off at the Newmarket Food Pantry tent at the Newmarket Farmer’s Market.
Bins accepting food donations are also located at Metro, Real Canadian Superstore (Newmarket), NoFrills, and Vinces Market.
