Christmas 2014, local resident (and current Chair of the Board Kirk Bowden), reached out to friends and family to donate turkeys to the Newmarket Food Pantry. Kirk filled his trunk with 20 turkeys and dropped them off at the pantry, and so began our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Turkey Drives!

Thanksgiving 2022 we collected over 400 turkeys and were able to provide all the fixings to our clients, thanks to the generous support of the community. We also collect small hams for smaller families and our senior clients. With the installation of our walk-in fridge freezer, we are able to collect and store many more turkeys than in previous years and ensure everyone can enjoy the season.

Your $30 donation will provide a family with a Turkey dinner kit, with all the fixin’s!

Donations are gratefully accepted at the Food Pantry during donation hours. Monetary donations can be made online or send us an e-transfer to abain@newmarketfoodpantry.ca.
